GearForge Software Announces Founding Of Two IoT Labs In Minnesota

GearForge Software, LLC – creator of the Trustdyx website content management system, GLASSFRAME rapid video production software and CC0 Image Search Tool – announces the founding of two of the only internet of things (IoT) labs in Minnesota. These labs, located in St. Cloud and Edina, allow the founding team at GearForge to pair custom software design with electrical and mechanical engineering and help businesses execute on their goals.

GearForge is committed to building and programming the devices necessary to power a wide range of industries. With more than 25 combined years of experience in software engineering, along with military-based electrical engineering experience, the leadership team is able to design and build IoT solutions end-to-end.

“With some of the only physical IoT labs in the state, we can provide greater customizability and faster turnaround than most other IoT firms,” said Cliff Robbins, GearForge Software’s CEO and chief of hardware.

“With two IoT labs, we’re able to execute on multiple projects at once, while collaborating with software and design communities in the Twin Cities and Central Minnesota,” Matthew MacGregor, chief innovation officer (CIO) and chief of software, noted.

“The IoT world is exploding. Communications across vast distances, and securing them, are key concerns for firms worldwide,” said Heather Robbins, president and chief of relationships. “As an early mover, we’re uniquely positioned to help firms learn how they can benefit from IoT, and implement those solutions in a holistic way.”

GearForge has a well-defined software development life cycle (SDLC) and can help businesses get to market rapidly. From mobile and web applications to cloud infrastructure and IoT, the team at GearForge can create greater value and enhance return on investment.
